Yogas are of utmost importance in Vedic astrology.
But, one needs a lot of expertise and skill to interpret the relative strength
of them and determine how effective they really are in astrological predictions.
Yogas are formed when certain specific planetary
combinations occur in a horoscope. These yogas may be benefic or malefic
depending upon their placement in the chart. There are hundreds of yogas which
are considered for the purpose of analysing a horoscope.

circumstances:
· When
Mercury is placed in Kendra or Quadrant houses or in Trine or Trikona houses
from Lagna or the Asendant and Mercury is in Gemini (its own sign) or in Virgo
(its sign of exaltation).
·
When
Mercury is very powerful and is not subjected to any evil influences.
Thus, we note
that this yoga will only occur if one has Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn,

Results:
As Mercury is the
natural significator of intelligence, education, communication, travels and
younger siblings, the native having this Yoga will be strong, an intelligent
speaker having eloquence in speech and well educated. He will be proficient in
solving problems due to his sharp intelligence. He will have many travels and
will gain much from such travels. He will have long life and will be helpful to
his siblings throughout his life.
But,
one thing that the readers of this blog should keep in mind is that the
above-mentioned effects of this yoga are general in nature. The planet forming
this yoga should not be weak, debilitated, afflicted, or in aspect with any
malefic planet. It is also very important to take into consideration the
strength of the house, conjunctions, planets in that particular house and
various aspects over it, before arriving at any conclusion.
