This year, Diwali will be celebrated on November 03, 2013 (Sunday). The time of pradosh kal is considered auspicious muhurat for Diwali Pujan and the fixed Lagna time is the best in Pradosh Kal. Jupiter’s Transit in Gemini

Jupiter will enter Gemini on 31^st May, 2013 at 0648 hours in the constellation of Dhanishtha & Aquarian Moon and will transit there till the end of Samvat 2070.The effect of Jupiter’s transit on different Rashis will be as follows:

Aries:

This transit of Jupiter brings in mental and physical health problems besides other hurdles into your life. Financially this may not be a good phase for you as you are likely to face obstacles in business and failure in your efforts. Stay away from any kind of argument with your siblings and friends, as it might lead to a clash with them. Avoid undertaking any journey during this period as you might incur some loss in it.

South-East – The Direction of Health, Affluence and Assets

In Vaastu Shastra, the presiding deity of South-East direction is Agni, the God of Fire. Hence, this direction is also called as Agneya direction. Fire is the representative of Sun, which provides us light, energy and life. Without the element of fire, we can’t imagine our existence. One may get lots of benefits by not doing the forbidden tasks in the South-East and following the principles of Vaastu Shastra.

In Astrology, South-East direction is represented by the planet Venus. So, one may improve one’s health, wealth and prosperity by propitiating Venus with chanting of right kind of mantras and doing other remedial things.

In Feng-Shui, South-East symbolizes affluence, abundance and material possessions. When one desires to improve one’s financial condition, this direction becomes the most important to activate. The best way to do this is to fill this area with bright light.            

As per the Science of Numerology, the South-East direction is very auspicious for the persons born on the 6^th, 15^th, 24^th  in any month, but more particularly so when these dates occur from the 20^th April to 27^th May, and from the 21^st September to 27^th October.

One can protect and activate the South-East direction by adopting the following ways:

North-West: The Direction of Mind, Materials & Mentors

In Vaastu Shastra, North-West direction is believed to be ruled by Vayudev. Hence, this direction is also called as Vayavya direction. One may reap lots of benefits by not doing the prohibited tasks in the North-West and following the principles of Vaastu Shastra.

In Astrology, North-West direction is said to be occupied by the planet Moon which, besides other things, signifies mind, mother, house and domestic comforts. So, one may get benefitted on these fronts by propitiating Moon with chanting of right kind of mantras and doing other remedial things. Further, North-West  direction is generally auspicious for the people having Aries as their Ascendant sign, since Moon, being the lord of the fourth house, mostly confers benefic results on them.

In Feng-Shui, North-West direction rules our mentors who, at various stages of our life, provide us support and guidance for the advancement of our careers. Therefore, keeping this sector always energized is important for achieving the desired success in life.

As per the Science of Numerology, the North- West direction is favorable for the persons born on the 2^nd   , 11^th, 20^th or 29^th in any month, but more particularly so when these dates occur from the 20^th  June to 27^th July.
